World Spine
A mixture of fold and volcanic mountains. The Tenra Plateau links them. This high, near impassable ridge has saved the north of Caevalonia from the ravages of demons when they broke through to Tymaera in the lands south of the World Spine. The Dragon Mtns to the west are volcanic mountains. As per their name, they hold a high population of dragons and although these mountains are riddled with valleys and passes, making them transversable but barely so, the dragons and other beasts inhabiting them limit travel greatly. When Shine’s demons, led by Saragoth, tried to cross these mountains, they were decimated by a contingent of red dragons, led by the terrible dragon Brimstone, who was released from his imprisonment for this one last battle. The few remaining demons that made it across the mountains made the fatal error of leaving the mountains through the Valley of the Dead and were claimed by the forces of Ra-Sep-Re-Tay. To the east, separating the lands of the Dark Elves from those north are the Grey Mountains. Home to various clans of dwarves, but primarily goblins. To the furthest east, overlooking the Sea of Bones and the Desolation is the Citadel of Dusk, home of the Liche King Bel-Sharoth. The Tenra Plateau, since the demon blight, is now the southernmost outpost of human civilisation. Upon it is a vast inland sea, from which flows the water that forms the Wild Horse River.
